At the technology center in Kassel, all essential processes of mechanical process engineering - with a special focus on mixing technology - are available for the plastics processing and chemical industry. Here, we not only adapt existing production parameters, but also develop completely new processes for the processing and production of sensitive raw materials.
Our ultra-modern laboratory makes it possible to check results immediately and quickly implement new solutions. Many of today's established standard processes for mixing and processing - including the processing of rigid and flexible PVC in their current quality - were developed here.
Thanks to consistent research and close cooperation with our customers, we secure sustainable competitive advantages in areas such as metallic powder coatings, masterbatches, battery materials and ceramic powders. The entire range of our mixing systems for plastics, chemical products and bulk materials is available at the Mixing Technology Test Center. From initial trials to production optimization, we create the basis for tailor-made machine designs and technological advancements.

Heating/cooling mixer combination
Our heating/cooling mixer combinations set standards in terms of mixing quality and offer maximum flexibility for almost any application. The more intensive the mixing, the better the result: Zeppelin Systems heating/cooling mixer combinations guarantee a powerful mixing effect - the basis for premium quality products.
At the same time, efficient aspiration ensures perfect dehumidification of the mix, creating ideal conditions for further processing. The result: first-class product quality without compromise.
Intensive mixer
The intensive mixers from Zeppelin Systems are powerful compulsory mixers designed to meet the highest requirements. Thanks to the rapidly rotating mixing tools, heat is introduced into the mix in a targeted manner through friction. The focus here is on a balanced ratio: only as much energy is added as is necessary to ensure that the material is treated as gently as possible.
Versatile friction mixers for a wide range of processes: Whether tempering, reacting, coating, agglomerating or dispersing - the mixers enable a wide range of applications, even under special conditions such as pressure or vacuum.

Universal mixer
Our universal mixers are flexibly designed to process a wide range of raw materials with varying properties efficiently and reliably. Application-specific tool configurations and coordinated drive outputs ensure optimum product handling with minimum energy input - even for demanding mixing tasks.
The mixers are suitable for bulk materials with particle sizes of <1 µm to 6 mm and bulk densities of 20-4000 g/l. They enable the highest mixing quality, even with the smallest quantities, and are equipped with modern control and safety functions. Optional versions such as double jacket, chopper, vacuum technology or ATEX are available.
Container mixer
Take your production to the next level with the CMQ container mixer. The innovative mixing concept increases your productivity many times over - with maximum efficiency and absolutely consistent quality. You receive premium quality mixtures, free of deviations, regardless of whether they are powder coatings, masterbatches, color concentrates or compounds.
The CMQ really comes into its own with frequent product changes: The cleaning-optimized design enables quick changeovers, reliably prevents cross-contamination and ensures short downtimes. This saves you valuable time, increases your flexibility and gives you a clear competitive advantage.
