The horizontal cooling mixer K is the powerful solution for fast and controlled cooling of bulk materials - especially in the plastics and chemical industries. Thanks to individually adjustable cooling zones and a turbulent water flow with optimum heat transfer, it achieves a particularly high cooling capacity.
Its mixing tools not only ensure an even distribution of the product, but also enable the efficient mixing in of other components in the cooling process. In practice, the cooling mixer K is usually used as a second stage downstream of an upstream heating mixer (high-intensity mixer) - for perfect temperature control and maximum process reliability.

In plastics processing, cooling mixers are used after hot mixing to bring the heated material to processing temperature quickly and in a controlled manner. This prevents thermal damage and optimally prepares the mixed material for further processing.

In the chemical industry, cooling mixers control exothermic reactions and gently cool sensitive substances after mixing. This not only improves product stability, but also significantly increases process safety.
