Zeppelin has a long history of silo production: Aluminum containers were being welded even in the early 20th century, during the company’s airship era.

This specialized expertise became the driver for realignment of the Zeppelin Group companies following the Second World War. The first aluminum standard silo was produced in 1950. Further innovations, such as the development of the telescopic silo in the 1970s and the latest generation of modular design silos (Bolt-Tec, Panel-Tec), have ensured the steady growth of silo technology at Zeppelin.

Our scope of supply is based on global demand for storage silos along the supply chains of our customers. Our stainless steel and aluminum storage silos enable us to ensure efficient, reliable and protective storage of high-grade bulk materials.

Fluctuations in processes or raw material supply mean that it is not always easy to achieve consistently high product quality in the areas of plastics production or plastic recycling; Zeppelin blending silos allow these fluctuations to be balanced out so you can achieve a significantly better result. Our wide range covers a variety of bulk materials and the relevant requirements in terms of blending performance are fulfilled from the standard version upwards.
