Discontinuation of ZWV dual-channel diverter as of November 30, 2024

We create solutions - sustainably! In order to remain powerful and efficient as a global system manufacturer in the future, the dual-channel diverter valve type ZWV (35°) will be discontinued from the Zeppelin Systems product range on November 30, 2024.  For customers, this changeover means in concrete terms:

ZWV new orders can still placed until November 30, 2024

  • Orders placed by this date can still be delivered by July 31, 2025 at the latest. The exact delivery times are stated in the order confirmation.
  • If you would like to place a new order or reorder the ZWV switch, you are welcome to contact Sven Schwelgin or your trusted Zeppelin Systems branch directly.

ZWV spare parts orders and repairs are still guaranteed

  • It goes without saying that we will continue to offer spare parts (repair kits) for the ZWV diverter.
  • Repairs at Zeppelin Systems will continue to be offered in full.
  • We guarantee the provision of spare parts and repairs for the ZWV diverter for the next ten years until June 31, 2035.

Alternatives to the ZWV diverter from Zeppelin Systems are in stock

The successor component – the DVV dual-channel diverter (35°) – has been very successfully established on the market since 2019 and is a successful further development of the predecessor model. The old ZWV model was offered with the following nominal widths: ZWV 56/65/80/85/100/110/125/150/163. The design was carried out as standard in accordance with ATEX 2014/34/EU for use in zone 22.

The housing and the rotatable rotor of the successor model – the DVV dual-channel diverter (35°) – continue to impress with their high-quality cast aluminum as standard. The three flange collars on the housing and the rotor are equipped with tube inserts made of high-quality stainless steel.

The DVV diverter is offered for a nominal width range of 50 to 125 and offers corresponding options with different internal pipe diameters. For the nominal widths DN150/163, we recommend the VST (45°), TST (90°) or ZWR (35°) single-channel diverters, which are also all equipped with stainless steel inserts in proven Zeppelin Systems quality. Of course, the installation dimensions (flange distance) of the DVV diverter are identical to the discontinued model of the ZWV diverter.

Highlights of the DVV dual-channel diverter compared to the discontinued ZWV model:

  • High working pressure from -0.5 to 3.5 bar(g)
  • Significantly lower overall space requirements and weight-optimized design
  • Compact design: Fully integrated linear drive and all electrical attachments centrally accessible via a safety hood
  • Can also be used outdoors without implementing additional weatherproofing measures
  • Externally installed slots for convenient settings without disassembly
  • Smooth surfaces and simple disassembly allow for easy, fast cleaning – inside and out
  • Variants with terminal box available on request
  • Declaration of Incorporation or Declaration of Conformity in accordance with MRL, EC type examination certificate and ATEX Declaration of Conformity Zone 2/22 available
  • Suitable for contact with food in accordance with EC 1935/2004
  • Easy plug-and-play replacement of the previous ZWV model with the new DVV
